The reaction will come

The law of action and reaction operates in society. The bourgeoisie, for example, invested with great violence in the population of countless countries around the world during the first neoliberal wave, which took place between the 1970s and 2000s. As a result and reaction to this wave, figures such as Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping emerged, as well as nationalist movements in countries such as Venezuela. All these events are direct reactions to that first neoliberal wave.

Faced with the unprecedented crisis of capitalism, the bourgeoisie will carry out even more brutal violence against the world’s population. And so the reaction of the population will be inevitable. Even if it takes a long time, causing great suffering, the reaction is certain. Insofar as the current neoliberal offensive will be much more aggressive than the first, the reaction will be much greater, forging much more radical mass leaderships like those that emerged during the first wave.

The bourgeoisie is aware of this potential violent reaction. That’s why it is promoting censorship and adopting preventive measures, such as trying to disarm the population and creating restrictive laws. The Antifaction Bill, which provides for 20 to 40 years in prison for occupying land, is a clear example of this.

This repression, however, will not stop the reaction. On the contrary, it will make it even bigger. You only have to look at what happened in the Gaza Strip to see this. The level of violence used generated a huge global reaction. This reaction wiped out the image that Zionism had built up over decades and radicalized the world population to an unprecedented degree.

The bourgeoisie is afraid because it knows that its policy is explosive. It is up to the left, for its part, to prepare and organize the reaction. The reaction to this wave of violence must be a conscious one, in which people know what is happening and what needs to be done.
